Principal's Welcome Note...
Thank you for your interest in Nilai International School (NIS). We provide a Cambridge British Curriculum education that combines excellence in teaching, a highly personal approach, a technology enriched learning environment with many opportunities for cultural and sporting activities. Our community of happy, confident students and supportive, well qualified staff provides an enriching environment in which young people thrive and succeed. Our motto is ‘Let your light shine’ and we hope that you will see that beaming in all that we do here at NIS.

I hope that this website will provide you with all the information you need about the NIS at this stage, though please do get in touch with our Admissions Office at or by telephoning +(6)06 8502 188 should you require further information. We deal with all applications on an individual basis, offering places only where we are able to fully support the needs of the student. The application process is outlined on the Admissions section of the site.

The atmosphere at the NIS is vibrant, creative and above all outward looking. We are much more than a school, we are at the centre of the international community we serve and take great pride in making interaction with the school a happy and fulfilling experience for the whole family. I hope that visiting our website will go some way towards giving you a flavour of how we achieve this. However, the best way to appreciate the NIS is to come and sample it for yourself. From guided tours to open days, we are always ready to give prospective pupils and their families a sense of what it is like to be a part of this extraordinary community. Our campus serves the following areas with convenient bus services from the following towns and cities in Seremban and Kuala Lumpur. Just like the best British independent schools we are placed outside the Capital in the countryside. Outside of the hustle and bustle of city life students at NIS can be safe and free to be youngsters. They can enjoy learning through academic rigour, creative and sporting endeavours.

NIS is part of a well establish educational foundation that includes Nilai University and retains a special place in the hearts of all those who have studied and taught here over the past sixteen years; I very much hope that you and your family will join us in the future. We are proud of our past, but our focus is on the future of our students.

Yours sincerely
Martin Nugent
