Empowering Young Learners
Here at Nilai International School, we have a special curriculum for our young learners which is the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This curriculum was originally introduced in the UK as an educational stage for young children ages 0 to 5. EYFS is now recognised globally and is being used by dozens of international schools.
About our Curriculum
We adopt a play-based learning curriculum where our early learners will experience fun and structured activities that promote learning in these 7 areas.

Physical development

Personal, social and emotional development

Home From Home
Nilai International School Early Years Department strives to be a ‘home from home’ because we focus on the children’s needs above all else. Our approach to early childhood education is to set standards rather than simply follow them. We do this because we pay attention to detail, and really get to know your child - their likes and dislikes, habits and talents.

Holistic Development
The EYFS does not only focus on setting out expected developmental milestones in the seven areas of learning and development but it also provides the right environment, guidance and provisions to enable children to grow, thrive and be happy. We understand that every child is always eager to learn, and has the potential to be resilient, confident, self-assured and capable.
