Mathematics and Additional Mathematics Teacher

Position Information
- Position: Mathematics and Additional Mathematics Teacher
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Commencement Date: August 2026 (or earlier by mutual agreement)

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
- Teaching qualification or postgraduate teaching certification will be an added advantage
- MUET Band 3 or above (or equivalent English language proficiency)
- Relevant experience teaching Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Familiarity with differentiated instruction and assessment strategies
- Experience preparing students for external examinations is preferred
- Proven ability to support student achievement and academic progress
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE curriculum standards
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and critical thinking
- Assessing, monitoring, analysing, and reporting students’ academic progress and performance
- Providing academic guidance and support to help students achieve their potential
- Preparing students effectively for internal and external examinations
- Participating actively in co-curricular programmes, school events, competitions, and marketing initiatives
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and curriculum delivery across the school
- Maintaining accurate academic records and contributing to departmental planning and development
