Welcome to Nilai International School (NIS) website.
We hope that the information provided here will enlighten you regarding the education that we aspire to provide.
NIS is located in the lush suburb of Putra Nilai and we offer the tried, trusted and well-received Cambridge curriculum for both its primary and secondary schools. To those in the state of Negeri Sembilan, it is the realization of an opportunity to give their children a British education.
We, at NIS, believe that every child
possesses intrinsic value, has the ability
to learn and the right to prosper when
working together. We realize the importance
of co-operation and collaboration in the
learning process, as learning is after all a
social activity. Hence, we offer a
vibrant and challenging curriculum, which
will :
• encourage students to learn independently
and co-operatively
• engage students as active and participative
learners
• develop students into successful learners,
confident individuals and responsible
citizens.
We are also aware of the lifestyle of
children today as ‘digital natives’ and the
impact that digital learning and technology
will have in their lives. As such, technology features
prominently in the delivery of our
curriculum. We seek to develop
independent learners who will be able to
make effective use of emerging technologies
in acquiring knowledge.
It is also our ethical responsibility
to provide our students with a conducive
learning environment to enable them to
discover, recognize, identify and ultimately
realize their potential, so that in keeping
with our motto – “Let your light shine” – they will be able to
let their light shine.
NIS is committed towards promoting
sustainable learning and instilling in our
students a love for life-long learning. Our
vision therefore is to develop students who
will invest in their own learning.
With this in mind, NIS invites you to invest
in the education of your child and provide
him/her with the opportunity to experience a
British education – something that has until
now been a hope for many. |
