Lost and Damaged Books Loss of Books Students must report the loss of a book immediately. Students have the option of replacing the same book or another book of the same subject, and pay the processing charges and overdue fines, if any. Replacement copies of books shall be reviewed and approved by the Librarian before it is accepted. Unreturned Books Books not returned by students one month after the due date will be considered as lost and the students will have to pay for the books. Conduct in the Library While in the library, all students must behave in an orderly manner. 1. KEEP SILENT. 2. DRESSCODE: PROPER AND DECENT. 3. EATING, DRINKING, PLAYING AND RUNNING ARE NOT ALLOWED. 4. DISTURBING OTHERS IS NOT ALLOWED. 5. NO LITTERING. 6. INTERNET IS FOR INFORMATION SEEKING. 7. PLAYING MUSIC OUT LOUD IS NOT ALLOWED. 8. USAGE OF HANDSETS IS NOT ALLOWED. 9. PC : FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. 10. WRITE YOUR NAME IN THE LOG BOOK FOR PC USAGE AND DISPLAY YOUR ID CARD. 11. VIEWING INDECENT IMAGES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. 12. BORROWING THE LIBRARY ITEMS: STUDENTS CAN RENEW THE BOOKS THEY BORROWED TO EXTEND THE LOAN PERIOD ONCE. 13. RETURN BOOKS BEFORE THE DUE DATE, TO AVOID BEING FINED.
